The Sims Resource is a little different from other pay sites. It does not have an exclusive staff and anyone can contribute. There are some talented artists who contribute that you'll wonder how you ever lived without their creations. Free downloads rotate every 3 days. Great for Simmers who have patience and don't mind waiting for a particular download.
Can you guess what the theme of this site's downloads are? That's right, wood! A wonderful site if you enjoy log cabin homes, and want quality furniture to fill your house. Subscription fee is 4.50 a month.
SimsHost is a bit different from other pay sites. You pay an annual fee, and then add money to your account to pay for downloads. You pay only pennies for each meg you download. It's really a great deal! SimsHost is a large collection (50+) of fan sites, that offer everything from skins to houses with a range of styles.
8th Deadly Sim is run by the same folks who own the 7 Deadly Sims. The monthly fee is $3.50, and is well worth it. The site is adult oriented, with high quality objects and skins. You can even set the voilence and sex rating you are willing to view. Some of the themes include: strip club, Sim Motel, adult store, Hooter's diner, and a casino. A good site to subscribe to every few months.
